Joseph Barr, MD, a native of Savannah, Georgia, with over 30 years of experience in ER and Urgent Care and 15 years in Occupational Medicine, is the Medical Director of our spine center in Savannah. Dr. Barr holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Art in History from Duke University. He received a Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Barr completed his residency at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Barr is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Barr also serves as a Medical Review officer, Civil Surgeon Designations, and on the National Registry of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Barr has spent over 25 years providing care for patients in the Atlanta Metropolitan area and South Georgia. He has previously practiced at St. Joseph Hospital and Henry Medical Center. Dr. Barr is a Medical Director at SCS, and previously served as a Medical Director at Henry Occupational Medicine and Hillandale Occupational Medicine. Dr. Barr is an expert in designing patient treatment plans that assist patients in finding long-lasting neck and back pain relief.
