Ryan Cedermark DC, APRN, FNP
Concussion Diagnostic Specialist
Ryan Cedermark graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University in 2011. While in school, Ryan enrolled in post-graduate neurology courses, earning his Diplomate in Neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 2013.
Passionate about a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, Ryan graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University and completed a Family Nurse Practitioner program at Georgia State University in 2018.
Ryan currently serves as adjunct faculty at National University teaching in the Masters Program.
Ryan is also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and serves as the President of the Interdisciplinary Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation (IAFNR) as well as the Medical Advisory Board for SNA Biotech.
Dr. Nia Seidu-Clark, DPT
Vestibular Rehab Therapist
Dr. Nia Seidu-Clark earned her doctorate degree from New York University (NYU) and undergraduate degree from Georgia State University. She has more than a decade of experience as a highly-qualified physical therapist and is professionally skilled, educated and trained to mitigate a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions related to surgery, falls, injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post-operative rehabilitation, repetitive stress damage, poor postural habits, chronic disease as well as sports injuries.
Dr. Seidu-Clark is also certified in comprehensive vestibular rehabilitation and dry needling. With the new vestibular rehab program, we can offer comprehensive testing to determine if your symptoms are truly vestibular in nature including a variety of vestibular disorders. We can perform and interpret office-based vestibular testing, recognize indications for further medical/diagnostic consultation, administer commonly utilized performance-based balance tests, and determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of canalith repositioning maneuvers. Lastly, our therapist can design a treatment plan to address vestibular hypofunction, PPPD, and BPPV.
Dr. Larry Empting, MD
Consulting Neurologist
Larry Empting, M.D. is a Neurologist practicing in Atlanta for more than 25 years.
His practice treats all types of (mostly) traumatically induced brain, spine, musculoskeletal and peripheral nerve disorders.
Dr. Empting is a Minnesota native where he did his undergraduate degree at Concordia College (Magna Cum Laude). After three years researching Alzheimer Disease at the University of North Dakota, School of Medicine, Department of
Neuroscience/Psychiatry, he did his medical school at the University of Minnesota/Minneapolis.
He completed did two residencies at Johns Hopkins, first in Psychiatry and then in Neurology. He then joined the JHH Neurology full time faculty to treat and teach General Neurology and also be the Coordinating Medical Director of the Johns
Hopkins Pain Treatment Center. He worked extensively with clinicians and scientists during this time diagnosing, treating and researching non-malignant pain syndromes including: Spinal disorders, Neuropathic Pain Syndromes (including Reflex
Sympathetic Dystrophy, Sympathetic Maintained Pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), Head Trauma/Concussions/Traumatic Migraines, etc. Being dual trained in Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Empting also worked with Neuropsychiatric disorders
where the two disciplines overlapped.
