Pickens Patterson, III, MD, is a double board-certified, interventional spine specialist and anesthesiologist. He serves multiple communities at Spine Center Atlanta offices in Atlanta, Savannah, Conyers, Augusta, Macon, and Decatur, Georgia.
Dr. Patterson received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the Hampton University in 1993. He then obtained is Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in 1998. He completed his residency and fellowship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Patterson is a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, the Atlanta Medical Association, the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and is ACLS certified. He is experienced in all forms of interventional pain management including injections, and surgical implantation of pain-relieving devises and minimally invasive spine surgery.
When Dr. Patterson takes time off from working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, golfing, weight lifting, and supporting our own Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, Braves and United.
